ABOUT THIS COURSE
If you want to learn about close-quarters movement and clearance but don’t know where to begin, or if you want to sync up your SOPs and movement with a partner, this class is where you can start building those foundations. In SECURE 1, you will learn the basics of room entry and get hours of reps on center-fed and corner-fed rooms using multiple different techniques while learning about the pros and cons of each. We will also discuss the differences in popular methods between military and law enforcement and why they are used so that we can understand why, when, and how certain tactics should be utilized.
This is a basic level class for new students to learn, while also being valuable for experienced students to refine skills at a fundamental level, while potentially adding new skills to their own repertoire.
No firearms are needed for this class. All training guns and equipment needed will be provided by XCAL.
