ABOUT THIS COURSE
Get out of the booth! Come on downrange and see what you can do. Our STEELX events provide a safe, fun atmosphere to pit your firearms skills against others in the area. This friendly competition is open to all skill levels; however, the ability to draw from the holster and solid firearm handling and marksmanship skills are a plus.
During our SteelX events, you will be engaging steel reactive targets from a variety of distances and angles, often on the move, all for time and accuracy.
This will be a multi-stage event and we will be utilizing our private ranges for skills challenges. Shooters may not sign up for consecutive time slots.
This is an Outlaw event. XCAL scoring will be in place. All misses are +5 sec, and all procedural violations are +5 sec. XCAL personnel have the final word.
VA Law Requirements: Attendee must be a US Citizen with an unexpired Government ID (Real ID or Valid US Passport), a Naturalized Citizen with DHS or INS ID, or a Permanent US Resident with a Valid Government Photo ID.
COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS
- Prerequisite: None
- Gear Required: Pistol with at least magazine (rentals available), Eye and Hearing protection, Holster (highly recommended)
- Ammunition Required: 100 Rounds FRANGIBLE AMMUNITION ONLY (all ammunition will be verified)
- Dress: Closed-toed shoes; comfortable, appropriate clothing
