Pistol Basics I (Women Only)

ABOUT THIS COURSE

Whether you’re completely new to handguns or an experienced shooter looking for a refresher, XCAL’s Women-Only Pistol Basics course is the ideal place to start your journey. Our female instructor will lead students through topics such as safety, different types of firearms and ammunition, loading and unloading, and the marksmanship fundamentals of stance, grip, sights and trigger control in a welcoming environment created for women.

Get hands-on training with an instructor by your side. No matter the experience level, students walk away from this class feeling empowered and ready to safely and accurately handle a firearm. Come learn the necessary fundamentals in a non-intimidating environment and make some new friends along the way. We look forward to seeing you in class!

Firearm rentals are available at the Range Check-in Counter. Ammunition and protective gear are available in the XCAL Store.

Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
