ABOUT THIS COURSE
Rifleman Skills 1 is a foundational course designed to develop the critical skills required for effective positional shooting and rapid target engagement in dynamic environments. Whether you’re a hunter, competitive shooter, or tactical professional, this course provides hands-on instruction and practical experience to enhance your shooting precision and adaptability. Students will gain a deep understanding of Positional Shooting fundamentals and learn to rapidly build and transition through stable shooting positions under time constraints. The course emphisizes the “Find it, Range it, Engage it” concept, and pushes students to quickly identify targets, build expedient positions, and deliver accurate fire on vital zones. The skills learned here translate into every context of Rifle shooting; Hunting, Competition, or Tactical Professionals.

Day 1 will run from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Day 2 will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Rifle System (ALL RIFLE STYLES .223-30cal)
- Rifle optic, Magnified optic recommended. Iron Sights will NOT be viable.
- Minimum 150 rnd ammunition of same caliber, grain, bullet type, and manufacturer
- WEATHER PROOF Note Taking gear (notebook and PENCIL)
- Eye and Ear Protection
- Minimum 2 magazines IF rifle uses removable magazines (internal magazine rifles are okay)
- Weather-appropriate attire
