ABOUT THIS COURSE
Get ready for an exhilarating weekend retreat from November 17-19 that’s all about long-range marksmanship. We’ve packed three days with top-tier training, enjoyable and challenging activities, and camaraderie: all while providing lodging and world-class meals from our chefs here at XCAL.
Friday, 17th
XCAL Your three-day adventure begins at XCAL with both classroom and range instruction. You will first be organized into shooting pairs that will remain for the duration of this course. Our experienced sniper instructors will provide you with knowledge on shooter/spotter protocols, rifle/optic setup, and an introduction to long-range shooting methodologies. You will also learn how to employ game changing technologies like the kestrel ballistic computer and build a custom bullet profile for your exact setup; this includes capturing data via a chronograph with each of your rifles to determine your exact muzzle velocity, in-house at out indoor range. The day concludes with dinner and drinks at XCAL in the Founder’s Club.
Saturday the 18th: Panthera Training Center, WV
Upon your arrival at Panthera Training Center in Moorefield, West Virginia, be prepared to roll up your sleeves for an interactive range experience as part of your shooter/spotter team education. First beginning with confirming zero and continuing with shooter/spotter team training, firing at targets at a variety of distances while your teammate provides you holdover and windcall data. Lunch will be provided in the field. We’ll continue with sniper/spotter team training in the afternoon, culminating in a competitive field shoot. As the evening falls, gather around the fire with steaks and beers for some friendly banter and tales of marksmanship.
Sunday the 19th: Peacemaker Training Center, WV
Start your day with a hearty breakfast at Panthera, before we depart for Peacemaker National Training Center. This is where your skills will be put the test. Get ready for a field exercise where you and your teammate will be tasked with engaging multiple targets at various unknown distances. The team with the fastest time and hit percentage will win a prize. It pays to be a winner here at XCAL.
Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity to sharpen your skills and share a great weekend with other!
