Any fitness level can join an XCAL BeatsX and leave feeling accomplished. The instructors will motivate you and bring a level of enthusiasm like no other experience. Riders can work in and out of the saddle while experiencing rhythm riding (riding to the beat of the music). There is an opportunity for three intervals of weights, hitting all upper body muscle groups. This is a high repetition, low weight strength training on the bike. The class is one full hour of riding and weight intervals. SPD cleats are required for cycle-specific shoes, and all the bikes have cages available for riders without cycle shoes. All Beats classes are designed to leave every rider feeling like they have experienced a “party on a bike.”
