The XCAL Pistol Basics class is the class to attend if you are new to handguns. It was designed for those students who wish to gain a strong foundation in handgun operation, safety, and shooting fundamentals. It is applicable to both new and long-time shooters who have not received prior handgun training or who require a refresher. This course provides a good foundation for what you will need to know about how to safely handle and shoot both semi-automatic pistols and revolvers.
In this class, we will cover; Safety, Nomenclature, Loading/Unloading, Common Malfunctions, Stance, Grip, and Sights. There will also be a 50-round course of fire to familiarize students and for Instructors to evaluate them.
Class sizes are small to ensure the student is learning the proper techniques.
