THIS IS A TWO DAY COURSE WITH CLASSES ON AUGUST 2 AND AUGUST 4 FROM 6PM – 8PM EACH NIGHT
XCAL’s Basic Shotgun course provides new and prospective shotgun owners with the skills needed to safely operate their new firearm. Once completed students will be able to load/unload, field strip, clean and operate a variety of shotguns.
In a round-robin approach, students will work through the operation of some of the most popular models of shotguns in both pump-action and semiautomatic. In a controlled environment, students will learn basic marksmanship combined with firearms manipulation and operation in increasingly challenging drills.
Students will move past the basics and finish with advanced techniques that will prepare them for future courses and give them a solid base for defensive shotgun use.
