Community Intermediate Training Class
This specially designed class will further instill a solid foundation in the fundamentals of pistol marksmanship and handling, along with the introduction of intermediate techniques to promote confidence in defensive pistol use. After a review of marksmanship fundamentals, students will be instructed and drilled on ready positions, the draw, reloads (tactical, speed, and emergency), malfunctions, the use of cover, and basic movement.
This course is not designed for complete novices or beginners; intermediate techniques will require a solid foundation in firearm function and handling.
Gear requirements: Pistol with holster and magazine pouch, and three magazines. Eye and ear protection
Ammunition requirements: 300 rounds of Full Metal Jacket
Proceeds from the class will be donated to support Collective Threat Response Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to training, licensing, and insuring Jewish volunteer guards to protect our synagogues.
This effort is part of CTRI’s High Holiday campaign to raise $30,000 and launch the first volunteer guard cohort by Chanukah.
