Firearm Transfers

If you’re planning to purchase a firearm online, XCAL has you covered for FFL transfer. No matter how you buy your firearm, FFL transfer is still required. It’s good to be aware that not all online gun stores can ship directly to you, so let us assist with transfer arrangements. Before purchasing elsewhere, we encourage you to stop by the XCAL Store, where we have a huge selection of firearms for you to choose from. Don’t hesitate to reach out before making your final purchasing decision.

In order to use XCAL’s services to facilitate the transfer of incoming firearms, eligible customers must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Virginia Driver’s License and provide proof of current Virginia residency of 30 days or longer.

TYPES OF TRANSFERS

FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE (FFL) GUN TRANSFER
The shipping dealer MUST enclose an ink-signed copy of their FFL along with an invoice or packing slip indicating the purchaser’s name, phone number and firearm details, including the serial number of the firearm being shipped to us.

PRIVATE PARTY (PERSON-TO-PERSON)
Currently, we do not offer Private Party Transfers.

GUN TRANSFER FEES

MEMBERS $15/Serialized Item
A fee will be charged to the Transferee who is an XCAL Member (in good standing) by XCAL for services rendered for the above-said merchandise. The first firearm listed on a 4473 form costs $15/serialized item. Only have the specific serialized items shipped. XCAL can not be responsible for any non-serialized items that ship in the same box that are part of a larger order.

NON-MEMBERS $25/Serialized Item
A fee will be charged to the Transferee by XCAL for services rendered for the above-said merchandise. The first firearm listed on a 4473 form costs $25/serialized item. Only have the specific serialized items shipped. XCAL can not be responsible for any non-serialized items that ship in the same box that are part of a larger order.

NFA TRANSFERS $100/Serialized Item
ALL NFA transfers cost $100 per item for both members and non-members. Only have the specific serialized items shipped. XCAL can not be responsible for any non-serialized items that ship in the same box that are part of a larger order.
