Josh Hughett was born and raised in Knoxville, TN, where he grew up listening to his dad playing the tunes of Jackson Browne and Cat Stevens. In middle and high school, Josh was a member of both the band and chorus. When he bought his first guitar at 18, he never looked back.

Josh’s musical influences are set in many different genres. At any given time you can find him listening to anyone from Jason Isbell, James Taylor, Garth Brooks to Boyz II Men, Sam Cooke, Robert Johnson and John Prine.

Over the past 5 years, Josh’s music career has sprouted. Going from playing open mic nights, to free shows, to opening and playing support for artists like Sister Hazel, Corey Smith, and Edwin Mccain. You can find him on any given night in the South Carolina Low Country, playing bars and bringing the music that he loves.
