About This Class
XCAL’s Muay Thai class is the perfect way to stay fit and learn a battle-tested fighting system. Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as Thai Boxing, is a striking-based martial art that utilizes punches, elbows, knees and kicks for striking as well as clinching plus trips. You will have the ability to learn from your instructor who has experience coaching and competing in this combat sport.
There will be plenty of solo drills to build footwork and balance, as well as shadow boxing to build creativity. Classes will use striking pads and other protective equipment, such as shin guards, gloves, a mouthpiece and headgear. Build confidence and experience a cardiovascular workout like nothing else.Â
