ABOUT THIS COURSE
You have your permit, and you know the basics. Now take your concealed skills to the next level. XCAL’s Concealed Carry Practical Applications Course will fill that training gap and help you to become a more confident concealed carry permit holder, and prepare you for daily carry.
This course will provide students with the fundamentals required to carry concealed in today’s environment safely. Emphasis will be placed on equipment choice, concealed draw techniques, shooting in a close-quarter environment and firearm retention, all culminating in a live fire exercise designed to assess your judgment and skill when carrying in public.
Firearm rentals are available at the Range Check-in Counter. Ammunition and protective gear are available in the XCAL Store.
Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
