ABOUT THIS COURSE
Time: The class is two hours long and begins promptly at the assigned time. Please check your ticket for the correct start time for your class. Plan to arrive 15 minutes early.
Who may attend: For all eligible retired members of civilian or military law enforcement identified in Title 18 United States Code, Section 926C. This course is sometimes called HR218. Space is limited to ten participants for each class.
Firearm rentals are available at the Range Check-in Counter. Ammunition and protective gear are available in the XCAL Store.
Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS
- Prerequisite: Retired federal, state or local law enforcement credential or retired military LEOSA qualification card. (copies not accepted)
- Gear Required:
- Pistol with at least one magazine or a Revolver; rentals available
- Eye and hearing protection
- Ammunition Required: 50 rounds FMJ or Frangible
- Recommended Gear: Pen and paper
- Dress: Closed-toe shoes (no heels) and comfortable, appropriate clothing.
