Active Bystander Plus: Intermediate

This intermediate course builds on the beginner curriculum by introducing advanced medical skills such as airway management and treatment of penetrating trauma, with a focus on hands-on, scenario-based learning to enhance Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) proficiency.

What to Expect

• Advanced instruction in managing airway, chest, and back trauma.
• Multiple realistic scenarios with increasing complexity to practice medical interventions.
• Certificate of Completion, qualifying you for the Advanced High Threat Scenario Class.

Course Details

• Length: 3 hours
• Prerequisite: Completion of the Active Bystander – Beginner Course
• Requirements:
  • Ability to transport a person 10 feet using dynamic movements.
  • Comfort with TECC medical applications demonstrated on oneself.
  • Wear clothing suitable for active, potentially messy scenarios.
  • Minimum of 10 participants required.

Cost

• $180 per participant
• Recommended to retake every two years.
