Intermediate Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC)
This course is intended to solidify competency in the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) medical care techniques. As such, prospective students must complete the introductory Active Bystander: TECC course to learn the TECC guidelines and medical techniques for active bystanders. Students can expect scenario-based practice and advanced repetition in TECC with realistic equipment, props, and patients.
At the completion of the course, students will be provided an advanced training certificate, training materials, and the opportunity to buy specific TECC medical equipment.
- Ability to move a person 10 feet with dynamic movements to apply medical interventions on the ground, bent over and kneeling.
- Comfortable with TECC medical applications being placed on oneself.
- Wear clothes that can get dirty.
- A minimum of 10 students is required for the class.
