Firearms Trainer
Jean’s background experience is derived from over 20 years in Law Enforcement both here and overseas. As a Sergeant and the Assistant Director of Training for the Norfolk Sheriff’s Office, she was the Commander of the Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team and the primary instructor for the recruit, in-service and guest students that came to the Academy. As a Lieutenant, she led a team of over 80 deputies and worked part-time conducting tactical training for Blackwater. Jean was also a Hostage/Crisis Negotiator and, after retiring from Law Enforcement, worked for the Department of State and Department of Defense for several protective projects in Afghanistan.
