Virginia began teaching yoga in 2005. The profound impact yoga has made in her life went beyond just stretching and making cool shapes. It was a pathway toward the stillness of the mind through mindful movement and breathing. She delved into teacher training to deepen her practice and studied with several different schools and various modalities (including functional fitness). She wanted to share this healing yet empowering physical art form with others.
The strongest influences in her teaching come from Ashtanga, power vinyasa, and movement aficionado Ido Portal. She believes in weaving mobility, loaded progressive stretching, and calisthenics into yoga practices to offer strength and stability while improving range of motion and flexibility.
In addition to yoga, her passions are shooting sports, archery, and rock climbing.
