XCAL Realtor’s Concealed Carry Course

Realtor’s Concealed Carry Course – This course not only meets but exceeds the requirements for the VA Concealed Carry Application. This course will prepare you to be mentally and tactically aware when you are ready to start carrying concealed for your own protection, in the course of your work, or for the protection of your family. This course was created specifically for real estate agents by our own Director of Training, who is a Commercial and Residential Realtor in Virginia. In this class, we cover the mindset that is necessary to carry concealed, the specific dangerous circumstances that real estate agents often find themselves in, the Virginia laws, handgun safety, and home storage and security for your firearm. We will demonstrate holsters and carry options tailored to agents and the way we dress and live.
There will be a 30-round practical course of fire.

Firearm rentals are available at the Range Check-in Counter. Ammunition and protective gear are available in the XCAL Store. Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.

• Prerequisite: None
  Gear Required: Pistol with at least one magazine; rentals available; Eye and hearing protection
• Ammunition Required: 50 rounds FMJ or Frangible
• Recommended Gear: Pen and paper
• Dress: Closed-toe shoes (no heels) and comfortable, appropriate clothing.
