ABOUT THIS COURSE
This course is intended to solidify competency in the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) medical care techniques. As such, prospective students must complete the introductory Active Bystander: TECC course to learn the TECC guidelines and medical techniques for active bystanders. Students can expect scenario-based practice and advanced repetition in TECC with realistic equipment, props, and patients.
During this practical application course, after a brief TECCreview, participants will practice hands-on TECC techniques, including:
- Assessing the immediate situation in order to make decisions about finding a safe location during the attack
- Physically moving victims to safety
- Actively providing the appropriate TECC care to the injured
Come and learn how to be an active bystander from our nationally recognized TECC experts and be prepared to save lives. At the completion of the course, students will be provided an advanced training certificate, training materials, and the opportunity to buy specific TECC medical equipment.
