LEOSA Qualification Course for Retired Law Enforcement – VIRGINIA RESIDENTS ONLY
Who may attend: For all eligible retired members of civilian or military law enforcement identified in Title 18 United States Code, Section 926C. This course is sometimes called HR218. Space is limited to ten participants for each class.
Firearm rentals are available at the Range Check-in Counter. Ammunition and protective gear are available in the XCAL Store. Virginia law requires a participant to be either a U.S. Citizen with a valid government photo ID (Driver’s License, Real ID or U.S. Passport); a naturalized citizen with a valid government photo ID; or a Permanent U.S. Resident with a valid government photo ID.
**LEOSA Candidate must bring their retired identification and documentation from the retiring agency**
**YOU MUST BE A RESIDENT OF VIRGINIA. RESIDENTS OF NEIGHBORING STATES MUST COMPLETE THE QUALIFICATION IN THE STATE OF THEIR RESIDENCY**
- Prerequisite:Â None
- Gear Required: Pistol with at least one magazine or a Revolver; rentals available; Eye and hearing protection
- Ammunition Required:Â 50 rounds FMJ or Frangible
- Recommended Gear:Â Pen and paper
- Dress:Â Closed-toe shoes (no heels) and comfortable, appropriate clothing.
