XCAL! I can’t wait to sweat with you! A little on me, growing up, I was extremely overweight until my mom lovingly nudged me to join Cross Country. That first practice, I puked and saw stars. Despite being the worst on the team & incredibly out of shape – I loved it. With each practice, I felt stronger, faster, & clearer – mentally, emotionally, and physically. I realized working out was much more than losing weight (that was a bonus!), that by showing up, giving my all, and hitting my personal goals- I gained a new healthier attitude, confidence, and perspective. I was also kinder, more patient, and excited!
